I have a big conference today where I will be manning a booth. I have to be there in about an hour and a half to set up and be all ready for the attendees. I really enjoy conferences and symposiums. I used to man booths all the time when I was a recruiter but it was more for the employment industry. Those events encouraged you to be fun. We could have little games at the booth to encourage people to come visit us. The wine industry is a bit different. They like to think they’re fun , but that’s only true when they are drinking. There will be plenty to drink at the wine reception after the event. Which I usually don’t attend. We’ll see how I feel today. I’m excited because I actually coordinated this event for us. I did all the shwag, give aways, raffle, and displays. I did all the ad work. Dangit, I’m a little anxious to see it all put together. Alright, gotta split, want to set up early.
